Hi, I'm Jesse
I believe life is beautiful. I love the outdoors, creativity, and people. I am a creative thinker, a tinkerer, and craftsman. I am optimistic to a fault, and have been told Golden Retrievers are my spirit animal. I am most likely to be found with a huge smile on my face; but what can I say, there’s plenty to smile about.
I grew up in North Idaho, enjoying the sun shining through the Cedar trees, the world as my playground. In the years since, I haven’t lost the wonder of a life lived outside, awestruck in the vastness of the universe and the beauty of creation. My love for nature and people have fused in my photography. I am incredibly grateful to be able to photograph amazing people in gorgeous locations. Imaginative thought, incessant creativity, and attention to detail manifest themselves in the photographs I create. The journey made all the difference in who I am today.
I believe life should be lived boldly, in the company of great people. I have learned that many of the best moments are found in the mundane events of everyday life. I believe marriage is one of the most difficult, beautiful things we can experience on earth. I photograph weddings because I believe in the beauty of marriage and the wonderful journey of life together.
Photography is not merely a technique of image-making, but of relationship, emotion, and storytelling. Remember that smile I told you about? I leave weddings with sore cheeks from incessant, joyful grinning. I am so grateful to not only offer my couples great images, but an experience, a story faithfully told: emotion, joy, and romance captured and portrayed through images.
If this short introduction has allowed you to connect with who I am, or think that we’d be a [photography] match made in heaven, I would encourage you to reach out to me. I would love to get to know you, answer any questions you may have, and talk about your wedding dreams.
I am based in Boise, Idaho, working in the Northwest and beyond. It is my joy to capture the beauty of life’s moments for you to keep and cherish.
Photographs tell a story of life, beauty, adventure, and love.
How can I tell your story?
